Transferring to LSA High School:
1. A student desiring to transfer to LSA High is expected to present a positive record of academic
performance and citizenship from the school he/she currently attends.
2. A completed Application For Enrollment form must be submitted to the School Office for a student to
be considered for acceptance. Accompanying the application must be a copy of the student’s last
standardized test scores, an unofficial transcript, and a copy of the student’s most recent report card.
3. Students transferring to LSA High are required to complete an interview for enrollment with a school
official prior to acceptance. At that time the application materials will be reviewed.
4. Students will select their academic courses in conference during a time arranged by the school.
Priority registration for courses is based on the date of acceptance.
5. All financial and other obligations to the student’s previous school must be completed prior to
transferring enrollment to LSA High.
6. Parent(s) or Guardian and the student will be notified by LSA High when initial acceptance is
granted. This notification of acceptance will normally be two to three weeks following receipt of all
application materials and the enrollment deposit. A request for the release of school records will be sent
by LSA High so that all official school records can be forwarded.
7. An enrollment deposit of $100 must be submitted with the Application For Enrollment. This is a non-
refundable deposit, providing the student is accepted for enrollment. The deposit will be applied to the
tuition for that year. If the student is not accepted, the enrollment deposit will be refunded.
8. A transferring student’s enrollment is not considered final until the above steps are completed and
the enrollment deposit is submitted. First semester of attendance will be on probationary status.
