To all of our LSA family – we are so unbelievably proud of our students, parents, and staff for their tireless dedication to E-Learning. We know that has been stressful and scary, but we want to applaud you in your efforts thus far. Please keep continuing to work hard and stay strong through the remainder of this year. We are so grateful for each and every one of you who works so hard to make it great to be an LSA lion. We love you, pray for you, and appreciate you.
Blessings on your weekend!
Dear LSA Families:
Today Governor Pritzker announced that schools in Illinois will remain closed for the remainder of the school year. Although we anticipated this announcement, it is still difficult to comprehend given the right of passage we have all become accustomed to as it relates to graduation, prom, and end of school activities. We will get through this and for the safety of all, will have to endure our new reality of elearning and staying home. The faculty and staff will continue to provide learning activities until what our scheduled last day of school would have been: for K-6 - May 15th at noon, For Seniors – May 11th, For 7-11th – May 14th at noon when the last final would have ended. The LSA is committed to having a high school graduation ceremony this summer once we are able to gather and the restrictions have been lifted. The administrative team will be setting a date so that you will have plenty of time to plan. We will also be setting times and dates for students to enter the building to gather their belongings once the restrictions have been lifted. If you have any specific questions please contact your building principal or Dr. Holmes at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Blessing to you all.
Dr. Jeff Holmes
